I've spent 40+ years helping students unlock their potential in Maths, Further Maths, and beyond. When I founded The Community Schools 15 years ago, I had one goal: to help students feel capable, not just coached.
Today, our team of 50+ qualified teachers supports 250+ learners every term across all subjects from KS2 - KS5, and our approach is always the same: calm, clear, and confidence-first.

Revision sessions?
The method behind 15 years of results
Every Grade Booster™ session is led by experienced teachers who understand the student behind the syllabus.
We call our approach Confidence Before Curriculum™: when a student feels safe, calm, and genuinely supported, academic progress follows — fast.
And the value speaks for itself.
Most private tutors charge £40–£60 per hour with no structure and no resources. Our Grade Booster™ SOLO and GROUP sessions give your child four teacher-led hours with live feedback and take-away materials — for less than the cost of two private lessons.
Prefer face-to-face? LIVE sessions run for three hours in-person in Bury St Edmunds, in intimate groups of just four students.

Will my child fall behind if they don't do anything over Easter?
Easter is one of the last real chances for structured revision before summer exams. Four focused sessions now can make a real difference to grades and confidence in June.
What subjects are covered?

What's the difference between GROUP and LIVE?
GROUP is online, up to 6 students, one hour. LIVE is in-person in Bury St Edmunds, groups of 4, three hours — ideal for students who thrive face-to-face
Can you support students with SEN?
Yes — many of our tutors specialise in SEN and will adapt fully to your child's needs.
